Load the unpacked beta

  1. Download and extract the ZIP into a folder you will keep.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome desktop 116 or newer.
  3. Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Pin PasteGuard from the extensions menu. Click its icon to open the side panel.
  5. Paste a synthetic example first and follow the help guide.

Chrome may show Developer mode reminders. An unpacked beta and a store installation may have different IDs. Finish restoring replies before switching installations, restarting the browser, or reloading the extension; the memory session will be cleared.
